Stephen's current projects are continuing an idea re-contextualizing imagery with an even more intense visual stimulation with the use of heightened color and even larger formats that will help push the boundaries of water-based media. 

His artwork also deals with distressed figures/bodies from media images of executions, historical tragedies and medical imaging. The main focus of these works are on the bodies’ gestures and the stories they tell through our greater connection with imagery.
