OCTOBER 6 - NOVEMBER 2, 2018 • THE BREWHOUSE
“I can’t remember a time when I didn’t draw. It is just something I did and continue to do daily. Whether it is a painting or sculpture everything starts with drawing. I work every day to create as much as I can.”
– Rick Bach
Rick Bach returns to the Brew House in Pittsburgh’s South Side for a solo exhibition of paintings, drawings and sculptures. The artist said, “I am honored to return to the Brew House and share this new body of work. I first opened a studio there in 1995.”
The work is an extension of his acclaimed exhibition entitled The Trojan Horsefarm at Gallery Studio A in Washington, DC, where the artist has lived since 2007. In this work, Rick revisits his childhood muse – the horse.
