Rachel Farley is a Pittsburgh native. She has lived, worked, traveled all over the world. Rachel graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with Masters degrees in Fine and Studio Arts. Her work is in the collections of a wide range of individuals and corporations. Locally she has shown at the Richard Jacobsen Gallery, Concept Art Gallery, and Associated Artists of Pittsburgh at the Carnegie Museum.
Rachel paints abstract landscapes which have been influenced by extensive travel and maintaining her painting studio in Puerto Rico. An intriguing palette gives her work a vague mysterious quality. These are landscapes of places as seen through the lens of dreams and memory.
