Due to the Covid-19 pandemic ZYNKA Gallery was forced to close in order to help slow the spread of the virus. As a result Paul Mullins’ EVERYBODY IS HERE exhibition was only open to public viewing for a week and didn’t get its proper run.
Realizing that Everybody ISN’T Here, sold works were removed from the walls and were delivered to collectors – leaving an even greater void in the gallery where those works had previously hung.
Rethinking this exhibition, Paul painted an additional set of works that compliment this current series. This extended play of paintings are of album covers from Paul’s personal collection – ones he has been listening to while in isolation under quarantine. While they express a similar sentiment as the Star Wars backing cards and dog drawings, perhaps they take on a deeper meaning as they mark this unique time – creating a new nostalgia for the future.
Enjoy this REMIXED Catalog which include these new works along with other available works from this exhibition. Additionally, Paul has curated soundtrack of songs from these albums - Playable on Spotify Paul Mullins - Remixed Playlist
