DISLOCATION is a series of cut-paper collages that explore the idea of disrupting a set order or system. Inspired by a relocation, the work reflects a shift in environment and in identity. While the process of assimilation into a new surrounding is commonplace, it is equally a profound experience worthy of examination. Within this series, the imagery used is both graphic and symbolic.
