Luke Desmone is a Philadelphia based ceramic artist. He received his BFA in Craft & Material Studies from the University of the Arts, where he spent two years in residency after graduating with the Liz Stewart Award.

His work utilizes the emotion, color, form, and the curiosity he associates with identity and experience, depicting a visual dialogue that expresses the individual in variety. He attempts to communicate his fascination with the undefined, addressing humanness and the intricacies of collapse and restitution.

Desmone's most recent projects include assisting the Head Gardener of Philadelphia's Japanese House and Garden, in restoring the historic site's shoreline to its intended pebble beach form.
