Jason LaCroix was born in 1979 and grew up in rural Massachusetts. After finishing art school and bouncing between Boston and western Mass for a few years, he moved to Pittsburgh in 2008. His painting subjects alternate between geometric abstraction and observational representation. Jason has also been a waiter, baker, printmaking instructor, farmer and a carpenter. He currently lives in Penn Hills with his girlfriend Rachel, her son, and their cat, Luke.
