Dale Luce has spent most of his art career at the Carnegie Museum of Art, where he was employed for 31 years, until his recent retirement – allowing him to get back to making art. While employed at the museum, Luce worked as an Art Handler, the museum’s Framer and Mount Maker, and on conservation projects focused on the proper care and housing for the museum’s extensive works on paper and photography collections. He was involved in around 380 exhibitions over the years including eight Carnegie International Exhibitions.

Luce has worked with artists from all parts of the globe, at times helping to fabricate their artworks for large scale installations.
